"It was wonderful to see the detailed reconstruction of
the tomb and treasure. It gave a sense of context and scale, and
we had the opportunity to actually walk into the past. I am looking
forward to seeing the real thing in the Valley of the Kings in
May as I will now see it in a whole new light" (Mr. A. Fox, Feb.
2004 after the trip to The Tutankhamun Exhibition, Dorchester)
Many thanks for taking Matthew (age 8) around the museum. He is still talking about being an Archaeologist and his interest in History seems to be expanding. He had a great day. (Mrs Carabine, British Museum Tour July 2003)
I found Charlotte's guided tour of Luxor extremely enjoyable
and highly educational. It was great to visit the sights with
someone who has such in depth knowledge of them and it really
bought to life all of the things I had learnt in her classes (Mr.
Frostick, April 2003).
I really enjoyed the handling session in the Petrie Museum. It was exhilarating to touch pieces of history and it also gave a real sense of the past and what it was like (Mr. Frostick, November 2003).
We are writing to thank you for a comprehensive and enjoyable lecture on the "Art of the Hyksos and their Role in Society" .we very much appreciate you sharing your extensive knowledge of this subject. (Mrs Sanderlin-McLoughlin 2004)
