Egyptian Links
When travelling in Egypt I find it is always nice to meet people you can trust so here are a few very trustworthy contacts I have in Egypt who would be happy to help you out on your holiday.
Hurghada taxi - Hassan el Adly Hassan - hassan_honemoon@yahoo.com
Tour Operator - Bassel Khairy - Bassel@vodafonemail.net
Luxor Taxi - Ahmed Mohammed - ahmed3888@yahoo.com
RESTAURANTS (TRIED AND TESTED)
Luxor - Red Dragon Chinese Restaurant - Near the
Meridian Hotel (ask the taxi Driver)
Luxor - Old Winter Palace - recommended for that special night out. Surrounded by high ceilings and low lighting, you feel like you have been whisked back into colonial Egypt. It is quite posh so guys you have to wear a shirt. To get into the really posh one you will need a tie as well. Well worth the effort though. 5 star Meal for four with Wine approximately £30. Pop into one of the bars after dinner for a Brandy and enter another world.
